Mad for Marchesa

We can’t tell y’all how much we love Marchesa! Georgina Chapman’s designs are exquisite {just check out the red carpet section if you don't believe us} and we are over the moon about her new bridal line. Besides all of the frothy, flirty, feminine designs {hello, ruffles!}, no one does a short gown like Marchesa. We are supremely jealous of the bride that gets to make her entrance in one of these confections and invite you to have a look-see at these gowns and share the lust.

Summer Peach Shoot

When Leslie Kerrigan of leslie&b photography contacted us about styling her photoshoot, we were thrilled! They are such fun girls and great photographers, who wouldn't want to dream up ways to have a wedding and highlight the most delicious of summer fruits? Shot at Sunny Slope Farm in Gaffney, SC, we could not have asked for a more perfect day. Darling newlyweds Eleanor and Cameron were gracious enough to strike a pose in the afternoon heat of July and did so without even breaking a sweat. The best part? We all got to take home a bounty of sweet South Carolina peaches! Delicious!

Oatmeal Lace

photo credit: our labor of love

We recently came aross this adorable designer and can't get enough! Named after a grandmother's prized cookie recipe, Oatmeal Lace carries custom clutches, pins and ring pillows to name a few. We think it would be so chic for bridesmaids to carry a clutch down the aisle in lieu of flowers. Along with all things wedding, Oatmeal Lace is also designing a line of Gameday clutches for all of you fancy football fans! We've already begged for a Garnet and Black version, but you can do the same for your team over on her blog. Since finding her, we've already been dreaming up our High Cotton clutch: burlap, vintage lace and a poppy and blue liner. Yes, please!

Funky Vineyard Wedding

We love all weddings, but if we had to be honest, there is nothing better than throwing a good, old-fashioned party disguised as a wedding! Enter this lovely couple who exchanged vows in the delightful little town of Young Harris, Georgia {one of P's favorite places in the whole wide world!}. While not for everyone, we adore the crazy beautiful color scheme, hand drawn details {especially the custom corn-hole board...so fun!} and relaxed feel of these nuptials. Design and floral by the always amazing Joy Thigpen, stationery by Oh My Deer! and photography by Our Labor of Love. Enjoy the candy for your eye!

Bedouin

Vintage. Fabric. Flowers. Perfect for eclectic bride {or stylist...we covet this one for our desk!}, we're officially obsessed with these sweet bouquets from Bedouin! She uses vintage fabric found all over the world and the best part? The most expensive one listed is still under $50. We just adore a beautiful bargain, don't you?

Rachel{and}Ross

I have been waiting on inspiration all day and {finally!} here it is. The vibrant colors and whimsical details from this Louisiana couple's wedding makes me a happy girl. The scraps of fabric make such a stunning backdrop for the delightful dessert bar covered in a vintage tablecloth. I am in love with the fabulous lightbulb chandelier and that blue cake {the peacock feather detailing is superb!}. I am also crushing on the bride's vintage Henri Bendel dress and just picked wildflower bouquet. Perfection!

Chocolate Butterbean

Silhouette Wedding Sign via Chocolate Butterbean

I must say, it was with great anticipation that I first met the adorable Joni Lay of Chocolate Butterbean. I came across her delightful website and knew that I needed to work with her on something {anything!}. I had been in the market for quite some time looking for a handpainted sign of the High Cotton logo and she was just the woman for the job! Chocolate Butterbean creates custom stationery, signage and branding; all with {as CB says} a southern flavor. I am truly in awe of Joni's talent and will be working with her on the branding of Fig{and}Pheasant as well as High Cotton in the near future {so stay tuned!}.
