Swiss Dot with a Cherry on Top

There's just something about white swiss dot fabric that whispers, "wedding" to me. It's both sweet and flirty, like an ice cream sundae or bat of an eyelash. I found the picture of the wedding gown in a bridal magazine and gasped with pure joy! Can you imagine walking down the aisle in that swirl of frothy fabric? Heaven! This picture sparked my interest in finding other sweet ways to bring swiss dot into play for that special day. Gown, Christos {christosbridal.com}

A staple of inspiration at high cotton is etsy.com, where I found this flirty veil. It's a perfect edge to an otherwise whimsical fabric and fittingly, is named "Audrey", the inspiration for many a swiss dot bride {pictured here in character, Funny Face}. Veil, Austie {austie.etsy.com}

The floral inspiration comes from this lovely bouquet. Organic and off-centered, I love the texture of the different shades of white. Amy Osaba is pretty much a genius. Floral, Amy Osaba {amyosaba.com}

What can I say about the fabulousness of this cake? I adore "Mad Hatter" cakes and think that the idea of this one in traditional white with the swiss dot motif is so fun! "Topsy Turvy" cake, Matty Cakes {mattycakes.com}
*Note: both Amy Osaba and Matty Cakes are local and can be found in our home base, Atlanta, Georgia.
